Since 2022, many people from Ukraine have come to Germany. If you are looking for a permanent job in a warehouse or in production, we look forward to your application – legal, with an employment contract and social insurance.

Who can apply

We hire Ukrainian citizens who have or can get temporary protection in Germany under § 24 AufenthG. This is based on an EU decision; under the current EU decision, the protection applies until 4 March 2027.

You can apply if you

  • already live in Germany and have a residence permit under § 24 or a provisional certificate (Fiktionsbescheinigung),
  • want to come to Germany – then we explain the steps after your arrival in advance.

What matters is the entry in your document: the residence permit under § 24 allows work; the provisional certificate (Fiktionsbescheinigung) should say “Erwerbstätigkeit erlaubt” (employment allowed). If in doubt, ask the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) or write to us. More on this: Who can work in Germany?

Documents you need

  • Ukrainian passport or another valid ID document
  • residence permit under § 24 AufenthG or a provisional certificate (Fiktionsbescheinigung) that allows employment
  • registration certificate (Anmeldung at the Bürgeramt)
  • tax ID, bank account and health insurance, if you already have them
  • driving licence and forklift licence, if you have them

The first steps

  1. Registration (Anmeldung) at the citizens’ office (Bürgeramt) within two weeks after moving in – with your passport and the landlord’s confirmation (Wohnungsgeberbestätigung).
  2. Immigration office (Ausländerbehörde): application for the residence permit under § 24. Only the authority makes the decision.
  3. Tax ID (Steuer-ID), bank account, health insurance: the tax ID arrives by post after the registration.

We support you with these steps. If you already live in another city, we help you move within Germany. If you have a residence requirement (Wohnsitzauflage), clarify the move with the immigration office first – we tell you how. More under Moving and registration.

Frequently asked questions

Am I allowed to work in Germany as a Ukrainian?
Yes. With a residence permit under § 24 AufenthG, you are allowed to work. While your application is being processed, you can work with a provisional certificate (Fiktionsbescheinigung) if it says that employment is allowed.
I am still in Ukraine. Can I already apply?
Yes. We explain the steps after your arrival. Only the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) decides on the residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel); we cannot promise it. You can work as soon as you have a document that allows work.
Which documents do I need?
Your Ukrainian passport, the residence permit under § 24 or a provisional certificate (Fiktionsbescheinigung) that allows employment, and the registration certificate (Anmeldung).
How much is the pay?
Pay starts at €15.33 per hour gross. The exact hourly wage depends on the assignment and is stated in the employment contract.
Do you help with moving and accommodation?
Yes. We help with registration and with moving within Germany. Accommodation can be provided if you wish.
