There are warehouses and logistics centres in almost every region of Germany, and they constantly need reliable workers. Warehouse work is a good way to start your working life in Germany. We are looking for warehouse workers (m/f/d) for assignments at our client companies in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.
What a working day looks like
At the start of the day, you receive your tasks from the warehouse management. Most of the work is order picking: you put goods together from a list or with a hand scanner, check the quantity and prepare the order for shipping.
Other tasks are receiving goods, packing, labelling and preparing pallets. Warehouses have clear procedures – accuracy is important so that the right goods reach the right customer. The work is physical: you are on your feet a lot and also lift boxes.
Typical tasks
- Order picking with a scanner or from a list
- Packing and labelling
- Receiving goods and checking deliveries
- Putting goods away on shelves
- Preparing pallets for shipping
Requirements
You must be allowed to work in Germany – as an EU citizen, as a Ukrainian with temporary protection or with a residence permit that allows work – more about this under Who can work in Germany. Warehouse experience is welcome, but not required. German skills are a plus, but we also consider applications without German. If you have a forklift licence, also have a look at the job as a forklift driver.
