Germany is one of the largest industrial countries in Europe. Factories and plants constantly need people to work on the production lines. We are looking for production helpers (m/f/d) for assignments at our client companies in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia.
What a working day looks like
As a production helper, you work in a team in manufacturing. You get your tasks from the master craftsman or foreman. Usually you work on a line and do one or more work steps: assembling parts, packing products or checking quality.
Many tasks are repetitive and quick to learn. German companies have clear instructions and safety rules. You receive work clothes and protective equipment and are given a briefing before you start.
Typical tasks
- Working on the production line
- Simple assembly and manufacturing work
- Packing finished products
- Visual quality checks
- Loading and operating machines according to instructions
Requirements
You must be allowed to work in Germany – as an EU citizen, as a Ukrainian with temporary protection or with a residence permit that allows work – details under Who can work in Germany. Production experience is welcome, but not required. What matters is care, punctuality and willingness to work according to instructions. German skills are a plus, but we also consider applications without German.
What we offer
- Pay from €15.33 per hour gross
- Employment contract with us as a German staffing service provider (temporary work)
- Social insurance: health, pension, unemployment and long-term care insurance
- Paid holidays and continued pay when you are sick
- Free of charge for applicants
- Help with moving and registration
- Accommodation can be provided on request
You sign the contract with us and work in our clients’ production companies in the region. You can read how this works under How it works.
First steps in Germany
After you arrive, we support you with the most important formalities: registration at the citizens’ office (Bürgeramt) within two weeks of moving in (with your passport or ID card and the landlord’s confirmation, Wohnungsgeberbestätigung); after that, your tax ID arrives by post. You also need a bank account, a health insurance fund and a social security number. You can find the details under Moving and registration.
Who is this job for?
This job suits people who like working with their hands and like clear procedures. If you have already worked in a factory or workshop, you will quickly find your way around – but beginners are also welcome. Even if you already live in Germany, we look forward to your application.
